Developers, including Microsoft, continually update apps to provide additional features. If a new version of an app you have installed is available, Windows automatically generates an update link for you in the Windows Store on the App updates screen. To access the App updates screen, click or tap the Store button on the taskbar, then click or tap the Updates link in the upper-right corner of the Windows Store screen. If the Updates link is not available, then all of the apps you have installed on your device are up to date with the latest version. The App updates screen automatically displays a list of apps with an available update. You can also manually check for updates; click or tap your profile picture on the Windows Store screen, click Downloads and Updates, then click or tap Check for updates. To have updates installed automatically, click to rap your profile pictures, click or tap Settings, then drag the Update apps automatically slider to On.
