What is a learning environment? How can early childhood special educators ensure a high-quality, positive learning environment?

What will be an ideal response?

A learning environment is the space that is created and used by children and adults, who then work and play together in order to influence learning. High-quality learning environments are those that are age-, ability-, and culturally appropriate for children with and without delays or disabilities. Positive environments are those that encourage learning, enhance children's self-esteem and self-confidence, and minimize distractions. Early childhood special educators can ensure that learning environments are high-quality and positive by including materials, activities, and learning centers that meet the individual needs of each child, while also using materials that are desirable and pleasing to children to keep them engaged in the learning process.
