Discuss three benefits associated with children's participation in organized sports

What will be an ideal response?

First, children who participate in organized sports are usually more physically active than uninvolved peers. Second, they establish habits that sustain health and well-being across the lifespan. Third, children learn other life skills such as persistence, teamwork, humility and self-control. However, mere participation in organized sports is insufficient. The quality of the sport and experience matters. The best organized sports programs emphasize learning and team effort over winning.
