Property offenders appear to use a limited temporal rationality. They engage in some planning and weigh data before engaging in crime. Offenders closer to the professional end of the continuum tend to use a higher degree of rationality while others may exhibit totally senseless behavior; however, most expressions of rationality are not clear.
