What is an important physical characteristic of the capillaries of the glomerulus?
What will be an ideal response?
Capillaries of a glomerulus have gaps between the cells that make up their walls. The gaps make the capillaries about one hundred times more permeable than a typical capillary. As blood flows through the glomerulus, blood pressure forces some fluid out of the blood and into Bowman's capsule.
