According to Hahn, how should mindfulness be practiced and cultivated?

What will be an ideal response?

Ans: Practice meditation, because each of us needs to realize the “total rest” of mindfulness. By total rest Hahn does not mean just relaxation (though this is included), and does not mean the tossing and turning of sleep, but the total rest of the mind, simply observing itself. Here are three basics: first, meditation can be done by sitting in a lotus or half-lotus position (traditional), but can also be done walking, lying down or otherwise. Second, meditation is about “letting go” of everything while focusing on one’s breathing. Third, meditating means observing one’s thoughts, emotions and sensations in the present moment.
