Briefly explain the ritual aspects of traditional Zoroastrianism in the context of the fight between good and evil.
What will be an ideal response?
The fight between good and evil has a ritual aspect. Humans must keep themselves pure in body and soul by treating fire with great respect and avoiding demons in their dreams. Keeping pure also means that dead human bodies must not come into contact with the earth, which led to the practice of exposing them to birds of prey. There are short but necessary rituals for cleansing oneself after cutting hair or nails, sneezing, eliminating bodily wastes, and using toothpicks.
