Explain the function of mirror neurons
What will be an ideal response?
Mirror neurons allow us to put ourselves in other people's shoes and experience how they feel. They are the reason we smile when we see a baby smile or flinch when we see a person in pain. Mirror neurons also explain why yawning is contagious. When we see another person yawn, mirror neurons tell our brains to do the same. Group laughter spreads in much the same
way.
