What is ambush marketing?

What will be an ideal response?

Ambush marketing is a phrase that describes the actions of companies that seek to associate themselves with a sponsored event such as the Olympic Games or the Super Bowl without paying the requisite fee as other “official sponsors” do. The ambush consists of giving the impression to consumers that the
organization/company is actually a sponsor or is somehow affiliated with the event when in fact it is not.
