Discuss the three components of the fraud triangle

Please provide the best answer for the statement.

Answer: The first aspect of the fraud triangle has to do with pressures and incentives to commit fraud in order to achieve objectives. This can include pressures from peers, deteriorating business, market conditions, or personal incentives. The second component occurs when a person see an opportunity to engage in the wrongdoing. This occurs when a person has the ability to commit the fraud, when he or she is presented with circumstances that allow for a crime to be committed, and when the risk of detection is low. The last aspect is based on rationalization. Rationalization is a way to justify one’s actions. The wrongdoer may claim the action is “what everyone does” or something someone deserves.
