Explain how a heat pipe works
What will be an ideal response?
A heat pipe is essentially a closed tube installed on a slant with refrigerant sealed inside. When one side is heated, liquid boils and absorbs heat. The gas rises and goes to the other side because of its lighter density. The gas then condenses on the cool side, giving off the heat. The condensed liquid flows back to the warm side by gravity
