What will be an ideal response?

The methods for launching an application are: Use the Start menu: Click the Start button, select All Programs, and then select the program from the list of installed software. Use the Search box: Click the Start button, and then enter the name of the program file or command in the Search box. In Windows 7, the empty box is labeled the Search programs and files box. In Vista, the box is labeled the Search box, and in Windows XP, it is labeled the Run box. Use Windows Explorer or the Computer window. Execute a program or launch an application file by double-clicking the icon beside the filename in Windows Explorer or the Computer window. (In Windows XP, the Computer window is called My Computer.) Use a shortcut icon: A quick way to open an application you use often is to place a shortcut icon to the program on the desktop or place a program icon in the taskbar.
