Are birds more like humans or kangaroo rats in the challenges they face in deserts and the way they cope with these challenges?

What will be an ideal response?

Birds, like humans, are diurnal animals so they are exposed to daytime heat, whereas most rodents are nocturnal, avoiding the highest temperatures by remaining in their burrows during the day and emerging only at night when the desert has cooled. And birds are like humans in being mobile and able to move several kilometers to find food or water, whereas the movements of desert rodents are limited to several tens of meters.
