Columns that are too narrow or too wide for the material they contain can make a table hard to read. Explain how this problem can be resolved.?

What will be an ideal response?

Answers will vary. The difficulty faced in reading a table when columns are too narrow or too wide, for the material they contain, can be overcome by changing the respective table column widths. When the insertion point is positioned in a table, Move Table Column markers appear on the horizontal ruler above each column border to indicate the column widths. One can make column widths adjust automatically to accommodate the widest entry in the column. To adjust the width of all the columns at once to match their widest entries, click the AutoFit button in the Cell Size group on the Table Tools Layout tab, and then click AutoFit Contents.??To adjust the width of a single column to fit its widest entry, double-click its right column border. To change a column's width to a specific width, drag the column's right border to a new position, or type a measurement in the Width box in the Cell Size group on the Table Tools Layout tab. Please see the section "Organizing Information in Tables" for more information.
