The six basic beliefs of Islam include: Oneness of one (Allah) who is the Creator of all things, Prophethood (angels and the other prophets of the Bible and Muhammad), belief in the revealed books of Allah (Qur’an plus sections from the Bible), life after death in which the believers will go to heaven and the unbelievers to hell, Qudr (Divine Destiny) whereby everything is pre-determined by Allah and human have limited free will. The five pillars of Islam include: Declaration of Faith (no God but Allah and Muhammad is the last messenger of Allah), five prayers each day, attendance by men at prayer services on Friday (optional for women), charity, observance of Ramadan (fasting), and a pilgrimage to Makkah (Haji).
