Solve.Explain why a tire with a smaller diameter would wear down faster than a tire with a larger diameter if driven similarly.

What will be an ideal response?

A tire with a smaller diameter has to turn more times to travel the same amount of distance. The smaller tire has a smaller circumference and therefore covers a shorter linear distance in one rotation.
