How should a leader deal with a prejudiced, narrow-minded, or insensitive group member?

What will be an ideal response?

The leader should interrupt a member's comments when those comments are detrimental, hurtful, or harmful to other members. If the member cannot refrain from making judgmental or prejudiced comments after the leader has raised his or her awareness of how the comments may be affecting others, then the member may need to be asked to leave the group.
