What are stereotypes? Have you ever been stereotyped? In what way? How did this make you feel?

What will be an ideal response?

Varies. Stereotypes are over-simplified generalizations that are said to apply to all group members regardless of individual characteristics. Stereotypes tend to emphasize just a few traits and they are resistant to disproof. People often maintain their stereotypes despite contradictory evidence. For example, someone may stereotype a feminist by saying "all feminists hate men" even if this is not true.
