What will be an ideal response?
The attacks can’t be prevented, but the problem can be avoided if the user:
• Doesn’t use passwords that are dictionary words
• Doesn’t use his or her username as the password
• Doesn’t use the username spelled backwards as the password
• Uses alphanumeric characters in the password (eight or more characters)
• Changes passwords often
