Discuss how Arab Americans and Asian Americans have been discriminated against and how they are perceived as a model minority.

What will be an ideal response?

Ans: Both Arab Americans and Asian Americans have both been discriminated against in the United States. After 9/11, all Arab Americans were stereotyped as terrorists and faced overt discrimination, whereas Asian Americans, specifically Japanese Americans, were held in concentration camps during WWII because the Japanese were considered the enemy of America. Both groups have been coined as model minorities because despite being discriminated against, through institutional discrimination or individual discrimination, both groups have high educational achievement and high levels of income.
