Why is reliance on one theoretical perspective potentially dangerous?

What will be an ideal response?

Some of the theories of human behavior are based on the scientific method while others are more subjective in their nature. While it would be hard to completely reject any theory, it is completely impossible and wrong to choose one of them and hold strictly to it. Still, there are researchers and clinicians who study sexuality who base their entire work on one perspective, therefore ignoring new research, evidence, and perspectives.
