You have to give a presentation next week and you are very anxious about it. Based on what you read about managing academic stress, what should you do?
What will be an ideal response?
The best way to reduce my anxiety is to really prepare for the presentation. The more I practice, the less anxious I will feel. I will also need to think positively. It's important to think about my past successful experiences. I also need to keep the presentation in perspective by knowing how much it counts toward my final grade. Finally, I can get a good night's sleep the night before the presentation, eat a healthy breakfast, and exercise. Taking a few deep breaths before and during the presentation is also a good idea.
