What are the differences between class consciousness and false consciousness? Do capitalists have class consciousness?

What will be an ideal response?

Answers will vary but should discuss false consciousness as the inability to understand their place within the capitalist system. This may contribute to a distorted sense of reality in which the lower-class may view themselves as middle-class. Class consciousness occur when workers come to understand capitalism, their role in it, and their relationship to one another as well as to the capitalists. Marx argues that capitalists do not have class consciousness as they are too concerned with reaping the benefits of capitalism that they fail to view capitalism in its entirety.
