Describe the role of the teacher in reciprocal teaching and how it changes over time
What will be an ideal response?
In reciprocal teaching, the teacher serves as a model and guide to the students when they pose questions, make summaries, clarify confusions, and make predictions. Gradually, the teacher gives up control of modeling, and moves to prompting students to do it themselves until they are independent, at which point the teacher monitors and provides feedback.
