Describe the differences between the Ptolemaic, Tychonian, and Copernican models of the universe
What will be an ideal response?
The Ptolemaic model was geocentric, and used epicycles, deferents, and uniform circular motion. In the Tychonian model the Earth was stationary and the Sun and Moon revolved around it, but the other planets circled the Sun. The Copernican model was heliocentric, used uniform circular motion and small epicycles.
