Discuss immunological memory and the role of T cells in its formation

What will be an ideal response?

Activated helper T (TH) cells or cytotoxic T (TC) cells can differentiate either into effector cells or memory T cells. Memory T cells are responsible for immunological memory, in which these cells respond more quickly and efficiently to subsequent exposures to an antigen. Memory T cells need no co-stimulator, so the response is considerably more rapid.
