How has The War on Drugs impacted Black men?

What will be an ideal response?

Varies. Black men have been much more likely than White men to get caught up in national "tough" policies on drugs, particularly crack cocaine. Crack cocaine is a cheap form of the drug, whereas affluent Whites tend to use the powder form of cocaine. Affluent Whites are less likely to be impacted by The War on Drugs as they are typically not purchasing their drugs from street-level dealers often targeted by law enforcement. Further, criminal sentencing for cocaine is less punitive than sentencing for crack cocaine--despite being essentially the same drug.
