Explain the crime control approach of incapacitation and provide an example.
What will be an ideal response?
Answer may vary. Incapacitation means making it impossible for people to commit crimes. This could be accomplished by removing the offender from society, so that they cannot engage in criminal activity, at least outside of prison or jail. It could also be accomplished by removing the opportunity for criminal behavior. An example would be limiting computer access to someone who has committed cyber fraud.
