What are some differences between a clutch master cylinder and a single brake master cylinder?

What will be an ideal response?

There are some differences between a clutch master cylinder and a single brake master cylinder. A clutch master cylinder has only a vent port; it does not have a fill port. There is also no residual check valve as there would be if a brake master cylinder is used with drum brakes. A clutch master cylinder does not have one because the clutch would stay applied as if a foot were always resting on the pedal. This would result in failure of a standard release bearing.
