What is the purpose of in-depth skills assessment (or diagnostic assessment) and how do they differ from the other tests discussed here?
What will be an ideal response?
In-depth skills assessment, also known as diagnostic assessment, is designed to identify the specific skills that a student has mastered and those he or she has yet to learn. These tests go into much greater depth and require much more time than the other types of tests we have discussed.
