Discuss the philosophy of Change Management and what it involves. What is the role of Six Sigma and lean principles in Change Management?

What will be an ideal response?

Managing change involves moving from an existing state to a more desired state of being.
Strategic change often follows an S-shaped pattern where new changes are launched, they flourish, and then stabilize.
There are a variety of changes that may be needed in an organization. They may be related to mission or be strategic, operational, cultural, technological, or organizational in nature. Six Sigma and lean principles not only address operational change but can also lead to cultural change.
To manage change effectively, the needs of workers, managers, and stakeholders should be aligned. To lead and implement change, managers must establish an organizational structure. They need to set up communication systems to inform employees about the change as it is in process. Firms must not overlook training, and managers must set adequate budgets to see the change to fruition. Finally, organizations as a whole must overcome fear of change through counseling and guidance.
