How has music contributed to cultural hybridization
What will be an ideal response?
Hybridization blends different elements into a new form. Within music, this means blending genres or different styles of music into a new type of music. The white rock-and-roll musicians in the 1950s and 1960s were notable for "borrowing" music, songs and style, from black musicians. Most notably, Elvis, the Beatles, and the Rolling Stones appropriated traditionally black rhythm and blues songs and style into their own works.
