Describe the tree topology.

What will be an ideal response?

The tree topology(also called the expanded star) offers features of the basic bus topology combined with features of the star topology. As the tree analogy suggests, you might think of this topology as consisting of a trunk (or bus) with limbs and branches (star configurations) sprouting out from the trunk. Each limb may contain only one branch or have several clusters of branches growing from an individual limb.
