Explain the main premise of victim-precipitation theories as well as the three main facets of the philosophy

What will be an ideal response?

Victim precipitation means that the victim is not simply an object acted upon by a criminal or is selected at random. Victim precipitation is said to have three facets: victim contribution refers to a person's action or lack of action that makes his or her victimization more likely, victim proneness implies that some individuals or groups have a quality that makes them more likely to become victims of crimes and victim provocation suggests that the victim is the primary cause of his or her victimization.
