In the word list format for words with letter combinations, the teacher has children read two lists. Describe the lists and tell what the teacher has students do

What will be an ideal response?

In the first list, the letter combination is underlined in all the words. In the second list, the letter combinations are not underlined. The first list provides intensive practice with the newest letter combination. The first three words in the first list should contain the newest combination. One or two more words in the first list would also contain the new letter combination while the other words would contain recently introduced letter combinations. The students read the list twice; the first time they say the sound for the letter combination then the whole word. The second time they just say the word. The second list provides practice on words with the new combination and previously introduced combinations. The students identify the whole word without first saying the letter combination

C. Increasing hygiene activities (such as bathing and brushing teeth) actually causes an increase in illness because bacteria can enter the system during the hygiene activities. D. People with poorer hygiene in childhood tend to continue to have health problems later in life, even if they change their hygiene habits later on in life.
