Explain how the Sixth Amendment is related to the right to cross-examination.

What will be an ideal response?

The Sixth Amendment gives the defendant in a criminal case the right to cross-examine witnesses against him or her and also "to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his or her favor." This means that the defendant can compel witnesses to come to court and testify in the case. This is done by subpoena, which is a court order requiring the individual to come to court and testify as a witness.
