The text describes fascinating advances in military technology that includes remote control drones, killer satellites, and laser guided bombs. Will advances such as these make the soldier of the twentieth century obsolete?

What will be an ideal response?

No. There will always be a need to maintain and program equipment and, of course, to use it. Although the method of warfare for technological advanced nations has changed significantly in the past twenty years, it has not created a world of universal peace which means there will still be the need for a common soldier promoting the defense of his or her nation or that nation's objectives.
