The 2 properties of the atmosphere which always decrease with increasing altitude are pressure and temperature.

Indicate whether the statement is true or false.

Answer: True.

The earth surface is heated by the solar radiation and hence the nearby air of earth surface also become heated. As we goes upward direction in atmosphere the temperature become decreasing at the rate of 6.4°c . This is occured in toposphere.

As the altitude increase in atmosphere ,less air present in the atmopatmos and hence atmospheric pressure decrease . It is due to the gravitational force.
