How is feminist international relations theory similar to constructivist ideas? Give an example.

What will be an ideal response?

Examples will vary but should show a thorough understanding of the similarity between feminist international relations theory and constructivist ideas. Like constructivist ideas, feminist theory claims that our understanding of international relations is socially constructed. For example, the idea of self-help in international relations has been developed in a male-dominated society. If females had a stronger voice in society, self-help might be viewed differently or discarded as irrelevant.
