What is the difference between the NAT and NAT network modes available for virtual network adapters?

In NAT mode, the guest OS is allowed to access the Internet, but no other hosts using the same mode. In NAT network mode, a home router is essentially simulated, thus allowing the guest OS to access the Internet, as well as any other guests that are utilizing this mode on the host machine.
