What is the difference between a food chain and a food web?

What will be an ideal response?

A food chain is in a straight line to indicate which species eat which other species. Rarely in nature is
any relationship between organisms in a community that simple. A food web shows the interwoven
relationships between species, because most organisms have more than one food source.
