The four columns of information in most routing tables include the:
•         Destination LAN IP - A defined network ID. Every network ID directly connected to one of the router's ports is always listed here.
•         Subnet Mask - To define a network ID, you need a subnet mask.
•         Gateway - The IP address for the next hop router; in other words, where the packet should go.
•         Interface - Tells the router which of its ports to use.
