What will be an ideal response?

Home-based programs were originally targeted toward new parents, pregnant women, and those with children under the age of three. These programs commonly include meeting with parents to understand concerns and challenges, assessing for things like postpartum depression, and assisting with parent–child interaction. These programs usually link to other services as well, such as making sure the child has a provider for immunizations and pediatric care, or financial assistance, domestic violence programs, and so on. These can range from a one-time visit to a multi-week or year program in which practitioners and professionals across fields do home visits on a regular basis. The Nurse–Family Partnership is an example of this type of program.
