Abstract--a comprehensive summary of the article describing what was done, to whom, and what was found. Introduction--provides background on the research problem. Method--provides details about exactly how the variables are measured, manipulated, or controlled, and includes participants/subjects, materials and/or apparatus, and procedure. Results--describes whether or not the data support the research hypothesis, and reports relevant statistics. Discussion--description of how the results fit into the literature.
