Discuss the importance of frame rates.
What will be an ideal response?
All animations play at a specific frame rate. The frame rate measures the number of frames that will play in a second, thus it is specified as frames per second (fps). When you export a blend, each object in the blend will be one frame. The frame rate directly affects the speed of the animation. If you had a blend with six objects and you set the frame rate to six fps, the animation would complete from start to finish in one second; each object would appear for 1/6 second. It follows logically that if you reduced the frame rate to one fps, the animation would play more slowly; with each frame appearing for one second, the total run time for the animation would be six seconds.
