organizational culture strategies, and awareness strategies. Importation strategies mean that companies
would aim to only hire the best employees and they would screen through background checks, drug tests,
and credit checks. Internal strategies deal with the policies within the company such as random
inspections, audits, and control policies to protect assets and information. Technological strategies mainly
deal with video cameras to hold employees responsible for their actions. Organizational culture strategies
deal with promoting a sense of unity or teamwork in the work place and building good relationships
between co-workers and employers. It also deals with stressing the company values. Awareness strategies
focus on increasing awareness among employees about issues related to theft and use techniques such as
anonymous tips, new hire orientations, codes of conduct, bulletin boards with prevention tips, lectures,
and loss prevention compensation.
