Name eight ways to collect qualitative data. Explain how the book will address each, and what dimension is important to consider for each type

What will be an ideal response?

The seven primary ways to collect data are interviewing, focus groups, ethnography, sociometry, unobtrusive measures, historiography, and case studies. The eighth method that is discussed relates to participatory research studies, and is sometimes called action research. For each method of qualitative data collection, the book will discuss the basic theoretical assumptions for each, and provide advice on how to begin a study, then address problems that arise during data collection. In the social sciences, the most common subject is a human subject. The book will address how ethics must be considered to protect the people who participate.
