Nurturing helps children feel a sense of belonging. Why is that feeling important to positive child guidance?
What will be an ideal response?
All human beings need to feel a sense of belonging, to feel that they are wanted and needed. If a child feels unwanted or left out, the child may not be able to cooperate and follow rules. Being harshly criticized and "put down" makes it harder, not easier, for a child to accomplish difficult tasks and comply with adult expectations.
