Identify and explain the dimensions of product quality.
What will be an ideal response?
The two dimensions of product quality are level of quality and consistency of quality. Level of quality is the amount of quality a product possesses. The concept is a relative one because the quality level of one product is difficult to describe unless it is compared with that of other products. Consistency of quality refers to the degree to which a product has the same level of quality over time. Consistency means giving customers the quality they expect every time they purchase the product. As with level of quality, consistency is a relative concept. It implies a quality comparison within the same brand over time.
