Several reasons exist as to why the United States is disliked among several Middle Eastern countries, and the Muslim community. Answers can include: the idea that the United States only has interest in the area because of the natural resources, like oil; the supporting of the creation of Israel, the support given to Iran which led to the U.S. owning several oil fields in the region, the U.S.'s repeated military involvement in many of the countries in the Middle East, and the perception that the U.S. is trying to corrupt Islamic views and ways of life and instill Western culture and beliefs in their communities. In regard to changing the perceptions of the U.S. in the eyes of the Middle East, answers will vary.
